It is indeed true. Starbucks has started selling red velvet cupcakes and a chocolate one and i think a vanilla one. I had a red velevet cupcake from there yesterday. It was good. Not gourmet, but good I admit. And it only cost $1.75. Pretty cheap for a cupcake.
The Starbucks in Malibu (the one in the Malibu Colony) has been selling cupcakes since last year. I have only tried the vanilla one and it was good. They even have cupcake containers in case you need them on-the-go.

Yes it is true. The one near my house is especially for Valentine's Day and you can pre order boxes that will be sent out for that special day! =)
Thanks for the info! I tried the red velvet and chocolate. Next time I will have to try the vanilla bean.
