Two months ago I posted about a new cupcake shop that is opening in Lake Forest. I received more information about Frostings, just in time for their opening. Foodie in Disguise posted that Frostings will be officially open on July 4th, although they will have a soft opening tomorrow. In addition to selling cupcakes, Frostings will have their own line of signature cookies and a beverage bar.
If anyone gets a chance to stop by, let me know how their cupcakes are!

This place by far has the best cupcakes that I have had, because they actually put effort into the cake - not only the frosting. The Birthday Cake and Day and Night were my favorites so far. Bonus: They have the cutest cupcake accessories. I am going to gain 10 pounds with this place less than a 10 minute drive from my house.
I agree with Spunky. The owners really have made the effort to make sure we got a taste of the entire cupcake. For me, its all about the cake part, call me crazy! :)
If you haven't tried the Citrus Coconut, try it! :)
Ok, I'm convinced that I need to try Frostings soon! I plan on stopping by tomorrow night. Hopefully I will be lucky enough to try a red velvet!
