My family visited New York this summer and visited two cupcakeries. Remember my sister Holly's review of Cupcake Cafe? She did a great job.
My brother Eric wanted to do his own review too. It just took him three months longer to get his photos and review to me. Of course I gave him a break because he has been busy with his junior year at college. Although, I remember having plenty of time to goof around in college. Anyways...
I'll let Eric explain to you in his own words,
"So we went to Burger & Cupcakes this past summer in NYC. I thought it was great! Location--Mom and Dad were freaking out because we went at night, and they thought we were going to get mugged. I felt completely safe and continued on. They followed of course."
"We got about 7 or 8 and the man working gave us several extra ones for free because they were about to close. We took them back to our hotel to indulge. They were great! They weren't really big, but the taste was superb."
"It is called Burgers & Cupcakes, but we didn't take the chance to have any burgers, we just stuck with the sweets. A worthwhile trip overall."
My brothers are super cool. I love hanging around with them. They are so goofy and lovable. I'm sad that they are both away at college, but happy that we are a family! Thanks for the review, Brother Bear!

I think I had a strawberry rhubarb cupcake. In the words of Eric it was "superb"
I'm pretty sure they are out of business. I have been to both locations-39th and 23rd st. and they look exactly alike and claim to not be connected. VERY fishy. BUT I enjoyed both the burgers and the cupcakes at both.....but do your research before going b/c for sure one, the other, or both are gone now...
