Apple Cobbler Cupcakes with Pumpkin Pie Frosting
I'm collecting delicious-looking recipes, so I can decide what I want to make for Thanksgiving. I am always in charge of dessert and I try to make new treats every year. One of my favorite ingredients to use is pumpkin, so I'm sure my top favorites will have pumpkin in them.
This recipe from Cupcake Project is for Apple Cobbler Cupcakes with Pumpkin Pie Frosting. Yum! Haven't tasted those yet. The most interesting part is that the Pumpkin Pie Frosting is actually just pumpkin pie that's piped on top on the cupcakes. Seriously good idea. I may have to try them for our Thanksgiving feast this year too. I'm always given the assignment for desserts too.... imaginge that! :) BTW- I made a cinnamon vanilla buttercream frosting on the harvest pumpkin cupcake- it was a.m.a.z.i.n.g.
